An American Girl Doll, Bed Bugs & the Internet

American Girl doll

American Girl Kit and I aren’t paranoid… but Google may have messed with us. Re-posting.

This one’s for all of us who look at a minor crisis and respond with active imaginations, complete panic and (wait for it) a google search.

Sharing my family’s story in the The Washington Post this week. It’s aptly titled: “Do you try the University of Google when there’s no time to get to the doctor? Maybe don’t.” Read the full story here. If it saves one family from an unneccesary mattress purchase and a frozen American Girl doll, I will have done my duty.

(Note: If you feel like commenting after reading, please do so on the Washington Post site. Good, bad, comparison shots of bed bugs and beatles… all feedback is welcome. Thanks!)
